Cantley Christmas Cookie Party

Brad & Michelle hosted their annual Christmas Cookie Party. This is the first we have attended. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and several people were unable to make it due to the snow.

Larry & Carolyn came in from West virginia. It was great to see them again.

I made Oreo Balls to take to the party. This recipe comes from the Wilson family and tastes great but is extremely rich.

Thanksgiving

We traveled to WV for Thanksgiving. Since Sarah lives in Charleston now, we were able to stay with her! I am so very excited she is expecting a little girl who I can spoil with tons of pink things!

On Thanksgiving day, we attended two dinners. The first was at Dorris' house at 1 pm and the second was at Larry & Carolyn's at 6 pm. Needless to say, we were STUFFED by the end of the day!

It was nice to catch up with Josh's family and Sarah, BJ and her family. I am looking forward to spending Christmas in Virginia with my family and not dealing with traveling during the holidays this year.

Josh & Alysen's Wedding

We attended the wedding of Josh & Alysen on November 14th. My Joshua and Alysen grew up together and have remainded friends since childhood. The wedding took place at the West Virginia State Capitol building in Charleston, WV. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time despite a few minor issues. One issue was that Josh realized 30 minutes before the wedding that his pants were not hanging with his suit jacket and we had left them at home. Thank goodness our friend BJ was able to lend Josh a pair (although they were a bit snug on him) :-) !

Super Cody!

Happy Halloween 2009! Since we don't have kids yet, we decided to dress Cody up in a Halloween costume. It didn't last long - just long enough to get a few pictures.
