It has been so long since I have seen Lindsey (she lives in Texas). Lindsey and I pledged Alpha Phi together and lived across the hall from each other in the sorority house. We traveled to Morgantown for the event which was held at Hotel Morgan. It was a beautiful wedding and I am so glad I got to attend the wedding. It was also great to catch up with sorority sisters I haven't seen in a long time.

Atkins-Fielding Wedding

We headed down to Charlotte, NC over the July 4th weekend to attend the wedding of Jessica Atkins and Stephen Fielding. It was a beautiful wedding and a good time was had by all. I do have to say, being pregnant at weddings is not fun for preggos! I still managed to have a good time though!

The Burger Nupitals

Whitney & Matt tied the knot this past weekend in a lovely ceremony in Baltimore, MD. The reception was at The Belvedere in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood of Baltimore. Whitney made the most beautiful bride! It was such a beautiful reception and we had such a wonderful time!

Mr. & Mrs. Ryan Hoy!

Ryan & Meghan tied the knot on Saturday, June 12th. It was a beautiful wedding at Stonewall Golf Course in Gainesville, VA.

Josh & Alysen's Wedding

We attended the wedding of Josh & Alysen on November 14th. My Joshua and Alysen grew up together and have remainded friends since childhood. The wedding took place at the West Virginia State Capitol building in Charleston, WV. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time despite a few minor issues. One issue was that Josh realized 30 minutes before the wedding that his pants were not hanging with his suit jacket and we had left them at home. Thank goodness our friend BJ was able to lend Josh a pair (although they were a bit snug on him) :-) !

Meg & AJ Say "I Do" in Nags Head

We traveled to Nags Head for Meg & AJ's Wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and the weather turned out to be wonderful! Josh and I decided to stay at a Bed & Breakfast for the first time. We stayed at First Colony Inn and were very happy with the rooms, the staff and the experience. However, I think we will wait to stay at another B&B until we are at retirement age. We were definitely the youngest couple there by 30 to 40 years.

It was so nice to be able to lay on the beach over the weekend. The ocean water was way too cold to swim in but it was nice enough to be able to lay out. The ocean is so relaxing and theraputic to me. I wish we lived closer to nice beaches like those in the Outter Banks.

Meg & AJ had a lovely wedding! They got married on the end of a pier overlooking the water. The reception was great fun! The food was excellent (everyone got chicken, fish and prime rib on their plate) and there was lots of dancing. Josh was able to dance to his favorite song "Jump On It" and he was able to belt out some of his favorite songs such as Lady GaGa's "Paparazi".

Another highlight from the weekend was the shady Karoke Cab we took all weekend. The cab driver was named Wayne and had microphones in the back of the car which were hooked up to a karoke machine. This provided many good stories for the weekend. Unfourtantely, I didn't capture Josh signing in the cab after the reception.
