Lucas' Mickey Party (2nd Birthday)

As we all know, Lucas loves Mickey Mouse so we decided to plan a Mickey party for his 2nd birthday. This year his birthday fell on a Thursday so I took a half day on Thursday and took off Friday. Thursday afternoon, we celebrated with a party at Lucas' school.

As always, parties are a bit overwhelming on the kids. He was not in a great mood for most of the time.
He was given so many nice things from our family and friends. We are very greatful for everyone who came and celebrated with us.

Austin Michael Koontz

Our friends Annie & Mike had a baby last week. Annie & I have been friends since we were 3 and 4 years old and have remained friends since. It is so exciting that we have baby boys that are just 6.5 months apart. They are going to be such good friends! On Saturday, my mom and I went out to meet baby Austin while Josh stayed at home with Lucas. Austin is so precious and such a sweet and sleepy little newborn. I can't wait to go out and visit longer and snuggle up with him. Love you guys! PS - The exhaustion and no sleep will soon pass!

Kaitlin's Chirstening

We traveled to Huntington, WV this past weekend for Baby Kaitlin's Christening. Sarah and BJ asked Courtney & Aaron as well as Josh and myself to become Kaitlin's God Parents. We are very honored and excited to hold this special title and look forward to watching her grow over the years.

Sarah's family is a bundle of fun and we always have the best time with them. They are such great entertainers and just a ton of fun to be around! It was so great to be able to spend time with Courtney, Aaron and Brooks as well. We miss our friends in Huntington and wish we could see them more often!

West Virginia Trip - Babies, Babies Everywhere!

We traveled to Charleston, WV this past weekend to see Sarah, BJ and meet Baby Kaitlin for the very first time! We also got to see Courtney and Baby Brooks during our visit! My, oh my, he has grown so much since we saw him last August. He is cute as can be.

As for newborn Kaitlin, she is beautiful and so peaceful! What a great baby! Sarah and BJ are doing a wonderful job with parenthood! We are going back to WV sometime soon for Kaitlin's christening. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again soon!

Baby Kaitlyn

On Sunday, March 14th, Sarah & BJ welcomed baby Kaitlyn into this world. I am so excited for the both of them. I can't wait to meet the little bundle of preciousness and give her tons of kisses.
